The enigmatic leader of the recently established Viral Containment Center was known to the world as only "Tek". Though the specialized branch of the Ministry of Health had only been recently established, from its headquarters in Likos its influence and power had rapidly spread across the globe as reports of the mysterious contagion emerged.

As reports of this mysterious virus intensified, so did news from the VCC. Its contacts with world leaders became an almost daily occurrence. And now some claimed he had sent classified reports to the world's political elite, briefing them on a set of supposed "Directives". Cultural icons and biological samples worldwide apparently disappeared into VCC facilities with no warning, the world's top scientists suddenly transferred to its employment. All while suppressing even the existence of the VCC to the world.

Now Tek stood in the halls of Selene, face to face with Emperor Justinian himself. Tek's personal armed bodyguards stood read by his side.

"Emperor Justinian. Crown Prince Constantine. We face a catastrophe of unprecedented proportions, and we must respond accordingly. The dead are rising and infecting the living with their plague. Thus far you have heeded my advice to control its spread, and for that I am grateful. But the ordinary measures allowed by ordinary situations are not sufficient for this extraordinary situation. We need a leadership will to take whatever measures are necessary to fight this virus, one willing to do so no matter how extreme or how many lives - if you can call them that - may be lost. It has become clear to me that such needs cannot be met under the normal government of Selene. The VCC needs unlimited executive authority to implement the measures I have proposed. No politics or bureaucratic red tape, only unquestioned authority to act by any means necessary. You've seen my reports, you've had your scientists confirm my conclusions. I merely ask that you give me what I need to let us survive."

So I've been hearing a lot about this zombie apocalypse but what exactly does it mean? Will there be themed issues?

The tiitle says it all. You can rate multiple users' avatars, but try to avoid rating the same user's avatar multiple times. (PS, not entiirely sure if this is the right place to post this)

I've introduced myself in the region's message board, so... I am not exactly sure what else I could add here... Let's hope the fun times we'll have here will be splendid.

There was silence in the air, a deafening silence that overwhelmed everyone in the room. As the sun lighted up the polish room, as the trickles of light tickled at the shadows, as the glasses reflected the light, everyone sat in silence. A single middle-aged man took off his glasses and polished it with a napkin as he glanced at his peers and raised an eyebrow before speaking, "Gentlemen and ladies I rather that you all not simply sit there taking everything in slowly. No, none of you have misheard me. I, as the Director of NIED, cast my support for the passing of this economic trade law."

"Sir, you cannot ju-just simply think and support this," one of the board members snapped out of his silence energetically, his voice rising, "this utter nonsense that would damn threaten our industries. Free Trade, and excuse me director, but free trade agreements? I don't doubt your intelligence director but... but this is-"

"Board Member Fields, please calm down," the director raised his hand as he eyed at the rebellious member, "may I remind you that this is a board of doctorates? Please slow down and collect your thoughts. Now, excusing Dr. Fields' riot, let us continue with our other agendas for the day. I," the director paused before continuing, "expect every single one of you be at the meeting when we announce this agreement. If you don't, so help you and your families."

And thus, there was quietness before the topic shifted onwards, to other subjects.

"The National Institution of Economic Development is issuing a new statement coming from the Board of Economics, a doctorate-level board headed by Director Hilms himself. As of October 25th, 2016, the Eraphalian government is entering into a free trade agreement with the nation of Nonfreesonia. Two hours ago, the Eraphalian Senate has approved of this measure and is now considered an official law. The details of the law will be uploaded onto NIED's website and the law will be recorded in the legislative website. Interviews with economists regarding to this will follow in later hours, stay tune for updates," a new's reporter listed off the information in an informative yet quick-paced format, "this is the National Daily channel."

The Eraphalian State announces a Free Trade Agreement with Nonfreesonia, but it also offers, at the same time, others to join in the Free Trade Agreement.

After the recent meeting in the Drewish Empire, Karknar has officially declared war on Oscad once again. As his, the Drewish Empires and the Sol Federations forces sweep through the land, Oscad cannot hope to hold out without outside assistance. Will you help them survive, or will you take the side of Karknar and crush them for good?
