So I've been thinking... what if we have a Fallout type roleplay? I've been playing Fallout 4 recently and I've been thinking of ways we could convert this into our roleplay. Of course this would be an alternate roleplay, not a part of the main one. Any thoughts on this idea?

Selene's Cold War! - YOUR FIRST MOVE!

It is August 21st, President Travis looks over his capital city Valis as several of his Advisory Cabinet enters the room, with worried faces, a stressing burn irritates him through anxiety corrupts the office's peaceful and calm atmosphere with the Cabinet member's worried faces.

It has already been five hundred years since Sovern's independence and recognition as a nation in Selene, after the famous "Reconstruction" Act, the country has been improved, civil rights reaches excellent levels, political freedom has been allowed and given to the genial citizens, and the economy has reach an all-time high. President Travis has been on office for only a year before another national issue threatens the republic.

"President Travis, there was an incident with several countries in the region conflicting with one and another, and within our reason, the entire region might fall into a Cold War!" states Advisory Cabinet Member Jason Bell Miller as he enters the office with the rest of the membership. "What are we to do with this then?" asks President Travis. "We have to begin an international campaign to allow us to recognize who is on our side." requests another member. "Really, we've been peacefully isolated within the region of five centuries and NOW we're being thrown through the region's expectation?" President Travis sarcastically snickers. "Sir, this is more real than you think!" yells one other member from the back of the room. "Fine then, what do we do?" desperately asks President Travis.

Hours have passed and several ideas were made and discontinued. The President and his Advisory Cabinet finally made an idea that was approved by everyone's standards. "So it is then, we will laugh an international campaign to unify the region under an organized conference to discuss international issues and solve them all together, and stop the means of war." states President Travis. "..And if sides are being chosen, there is no blocking the path to a cold war, because there will be at least one group of countries who won't like us.." Continues a member of the Cabinet. "We have no choice, we can't wait for other nations to choose our fate but our own!" proclaims President Travis.

Thus beginning the Cold War.

Within this thread, there is the main storyline. On August 21st, a terrorist attack from a pro-comminust party aginst a capitalist nation sparks a "WHO DID IT" reaction and begins rivary and aggression between countries throughout Selene. Arms Races, Space Races, and Economic Rivaries sparks the beginning of Selene's Cold War!

So that the thread is organized, I have made up some basic and simple gaming techniques.


- A Nation can design how ever they wish to display their post or reply, but it is highly recommended that all the specific action are listed in bullets so everyone else understands what you pretty much did.

- Nation can create their own aligned team or group of countries, hold a conference, PM other contributing nations, create their own scenarios based on the storyline, and create their own stance in the cold war. I only ask to keep things in the same timeline (the present) so others and myself don't get confused.

Here is an example of some actions (in bullet form) so you understand the basics of the gameplay.

- President Travis holds a conference with regional-wide nations across the world to discuss the complications and features of the Cold War.

- President Travis declares the Sovern Republic to be in a Pro-Capitalist nation in the Selene Cold War. President Travis orders the investment in Arms Manufacturing, the beginning of the Selene Space Race, and provide influence to other Pro-Capitalist nations.

- As of now, the Selene Cold War begins.

After introducing the new ideology, there have been numerous arguments over whether the nation should stick with its new founding ideology or go with Fascism. Daniel Turnt has had to face against a divided government, with Sorists and Fascists occupying most of the government. The Soltek Fascist Party and the National Capitalist Party have been fighting one other. It seems there will be a major struggle between the two.

Dear World Leaders,

As time has passed I believe it is imperative for international stability to establish some basic rules of war. The Empire of Procellia wishes to propose a set of international laws in regards to neutral nations, both to restrict and protect our rights. This convention will only apply to the signatories, but failure to sign could prevent a nation from benefiting from a neutral nation.

1) A neutral nation may not declare war, unless first directly attacked

2) A neutral nation may not attempt to side with a party in a foreign conflict in any official capacity. Example of prohibited actions include; an official condemnation, trading with only one party, offering humanitarian aid to only one party or an official recognition of one side as the rightful victor

3) An antagonist party may not inhibit the free trade of goods from a neutral nation

4) An antagonist party may not attempt to attack or harm a neutral nation, or its citizens

5) A neutral nation may provide humanitarian relief, so long as it is nonpartisan and does not directly contribute to the war effort

6) A neutral nation must cease all humanitarian efforts if all parties involved request it

7) A neutral nation must turn over all patients and refugees to the victor once the fighting has ended

8) An antagonist party may not prevent or inhibit humanitarian efforts from a neutral nation

9) An antagonist party may not attempt to confiscate or steal the aid provided to civilian by a neutral nation

10) A neutral nation has the right to defend themselves, and refugees in their care from antagonists without being considered an active party in the conflict

11) It is the responsibility of all signatories to enforce these rules within their territory and amongst their population.

After announcing their newly founded Soltek Pact, Daniel Turnt has received contact with a political figure from Kauzka. "Ah, hello, what is it you wish to discuss about?" he said.

After years of hatred towards Selene and its allies, the Sol Federation has decided to announce the the Soltek Pact. Just recently after announcing their new ideology, the Sol Federation hopes to expand its sphere of influence. Daniel Turnt has announced the rules of being a member of the Soltek Pact.
"1. You must agree that an attack on one of us, is an attack on all of us. If one nation of this pact is attacked, we will all send military force to aid the defender.
2. You must not be a communist nation.
3. You must agree that the Sol Federation, Imperial Greece, and Kauzka are the leaders of this alliance.
4. You must agree that this pact will change or update its rules."
Next are the reasons why Daniel Turnt thinks that nations should join.
"1. If you join, we will aid you financially and militarily. However, unlike Selene we will not force you to accept certain government types such democracies.
2. This pact is to prevent Selene and their allies from forcing globalization. A nation must not agree to some rules that foreigners made. A nation such as the Sol Federation was made for the Solteks, not for the Sartorians. We will promise to protect your culture and people.
Now the announcement has been made. The Sol Federation has officially announced to the world its Anti Selene policy.

The empire of Seniar has brought forth the third rebellion of it's time, send troops into Seniar to help the rebellion or the imperials, the rebellion will construct trade routes with those who aid and the imperials will become loyal allies.

Our great leader Daniel Turnt, has announced an amazing idea. He has announced the new ideology known as Sorism. It focuses on the idea of capitalism and being run by the Leader. The party the leader has created is known as the National Capitalists Party. It has registrations to join the party in every city across our grand nation. The creation of this new ideology will aid us against the Purple Menace known as Selene and it's allies.
In other news, our diplomat known as Edward Yutan was sent to a summit to Sartoia. We made our mission clear that we were going to stop Selene from dominating through its disgusting culture and people. However, foolish nations such as Sartoia, do not see the clear menace that Selene is. We must bring down these disgusting allies of Selene. Sartoia even questioned our way of leadership and our ideals. They must be eliminated. That is all for this week's issue. We will give more information to all of you next week.
