A bill has been brought before the Senate Judiciary Committee to outlaw capital punishment in Parthenopias. This has caused some protests throughout the nation, both for and against the bill.


With just a day of hearings in the Committee, Senators passed the bill onto the wider Senate for debate with a vote of 10-5.

A vote has been scheduled for the morning on the bill to abolish capital punishment.

A series of seven explosions rocked the capital city overnight, casualties unknown and the government has issued a curfew and martial law for the time being.


The government of Setsushima offers praise to the people and government of Parthenopias for their desire to outlaw capital punishment. It hopes that the bill succeeded.


With the votes in, 45:17 with the NCP being split along the Centrist and Conservative factions. The bill now proceeds to the Assembly of Cities for a vote scheduled for later today.
