I think there is a fine line between joking around and saying insulting stuff. If anyone notices they have posted inappropriate or insulting stuff in this thread or elsewhere in this forum,, I would urge them to think about that and realise that Selene is supposed to be a place where we can all be comfortable and friendly with each other. I won't name any names this time around, because I want to think mistakes happen and people can get carried away. Let's just remember that there is a time and a place for everything, and this forum is not the place for insulting or demeaning posts.

Do we have a (no pun intended) codified code of conduct? Or a bill of rights-esque thing delineating the natural rights of the citizens here? If not, I think that could be done to make everything less subjective and have an outline for future incidents. It could also help with activity for people wanting to pitch in. In many regions I've seen, a constitution was made for the express purpose of making clear what kind of region this is, how it ought to be run, and what the role of the individual citizen is within it.

You can find a code of posting standards in Section 1 of Corpus Juris. I know it applies to The Amphitheatre, but I will make sure to have it apply to the whole forum. I have no plans for a regional constitution, since I want the flexibility of an uncodified government, but a discussion for a Charter of Rights in The Agora is not that bad an idea.

Should we make a Charter of Rights there is an important question to be asked: Should we have something like the ninth amendment, wherin those rights not explicitly listed in the Charter of Rights but not in contradiction to other laws are in fact rights? This would make it easier to write it all out, as rather than listing every single thing that people can do until an incident might change our minds and we must amend the Charter, we can instead list what will definitely never be infringed on and have other rights be restricted by law when required.
