In a telephone interview, President Nielsen suggested the possibility of Fornoiran-Kumari talks on neutral ground in Gyldenhaven, Valheim, noting both nations have opened embassies there.

Fornoire aggressively denies to enter in such talks. "It is either the return of Oksioripoli or war. No compromise will be made to the western barbarians who have occupied sovereign, Fornirian territory. If Kumari will not return Oksioripoli, we will march on it by force, no matter what the hell the Union screams for"

While echoing the sentiments of her Valheimian and Sartorian counterparts, Chancellor Legard went so far as to warn the Union that if they refuse to withdraw from the Fornirian side of Oskioripoli that the PA may seek Punitive Economic Measures such as Sanctions to help "convince" the Union government that diplomacy is the way forward. This is seen as a marked change in stance by the Novean Government from neutrality to potential interventionism.

In a vote of 392-145-26 the Imperistarium of Noveaux has adopted a bill that will officially change the Legislature's name from Cantonal Assembly to Kriestad.

Fornoire has begun Operation Nightstorm, the attack to re-take Oksioripoli. 30,000 troops have started the assault on Kumarian positions.

The Eraphalian Senate approves a temporarily increase in military spending to speed up the mass introduction of drone technology.

In a last minute night vote the Kriestad approved the surveying of the Astall Mountains in the northern part of Noveaux for potential deposits of Thorium and Cadmium.

The Alssahran national website was taken down by hackers late last night, but was revealed to be state-sanctioned to test cyber-security.

The Kriestad today is considering a revision to Noveaux's citizenship laws that would remove the "Born Here" right. This would mean that simply being born in Noveaux would not confer Novean Citizenship. You would be require to have at least one parent or two grandparents who have Novean (or held Novean) Citizenship in order to be able to be a dual citizen. Upon one's 21st birthday they would then have to decide whether to become a full Novean Citizen or lose their Novean Citizenship. This law is controversial as nearly 1 in 10 Noveans attained citizenship through simply being born here.
