The Foreign Office has welcomed the lifting of the blockade and has invited Fornoire and Kumari to "engage in constructive talks to ensure a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict".


After the removal of the Fornirian blockade on Kumari the Union has decided to agree to have talks with Fornoire to negotiate the future of the two nations but has refused to remove the occupation on the city nor stop further construction of the wall around the city. Sergei Petrov is willing to speak directly with the Prime Minister of Fornoire but refuses the presence of King William at the "constructive talk."


Following a governmental study in the effectiveness of the meritocratic system emplaced since the dawn of the 20th century, the Eraphalian Senate announced that it will begin an intensive reformation campaign. The study has indicated serious flaws in the old system and that it is relatively ineffective with new technological advancements.


Olivier Bast, former Emperor and Duke of Lienne has been appointed as Vice-Minister of Foreign Relations. This was something that had been hinted at by the previous administration of Chancellor von Lohen and had been originally opposed by now Chancellor Legard but it is not known what changed her mind. His appointment passed the Superior Council in a vote of 12-1 with no abstentions.
