Last night, both soldiers and firefighters of Qastari rushed to the scene of a residential tenement district in the outskirts of Southern Drakos, where explosives were reportedly set off in an apartment building. Security and tensions were high as tenants were rushed out of the building. The scene took place late, around 10pm, until 2:20am when the tower was confirmed to be cleared. Still, until the area can be determined to be secured, tenants are being temporarily transferred to a different building.
As of the time of this reporting, three bombs were confirmed to have been set off in the building. One each in the lobby, a west wing elevator, and the floor 2B parking lot. It has not been confirmed whether or not there are any more explosives remaining not detonated. Incredibly, no deaths have been reported, while three who were in the lobby have been hospitalized. Judging by the placement of the later two explosives, a bomb squad that arrived later in the morning speculated that the saboteur intended to collapse the building, but over-estimated the strength of the evidently homemade bombs.
Several witnesses have been collected for questioning, however none of them are according to Drakos officials none of them are currently considered suspects, and none have been currently arrested or identified. The apartment complex will receive extra security and is expected to be operational once again within a few weeks, all things going according to plan.
