The tungsten crisis is upon us!
Daria Sclavoniki, the Minister of Economy and Industry industry of Xialta, has expressed her shock, when the state-owned mining company informed her about the low quantity of tungsten within Xialta's borders. Despite the many efforts of experts to find new sources of tungsten within Xialta, especially the newly acquired territory, Ochyro, their mission was a complete failure and no more tungsten sources could be found within the borders of Xialta. Tungsten is a very important material for our industry and its disappearance will cause a huge instability in our economy. In order to negate the damage done by the lack of tungsten within our nation, Queen Constantina Vasileiou Yakushkina and the C.F.R.T. have decided to enter the open market. Here's what the Queen herself had to say:
"Glorious Xialtan people, the tungsten crisis is upon us and if we do not find a way to import tungsten, our economy will collapse. I know what the intellectuals and the loyal Socialists of this nation think about this plan; is this the end of our collective? Will we succumb to another group of Capitalist barons and live a life in terror and despair, again? Well, not really. We will keep our Socialist structure intact, while entering in the free market, not represented by potentially greedy corporations, but as a whole nation, represented by the state itself, the one state that swore to protect the people of Xialta and keep them united!"
Despite the great plans to join the free market as a single entity, the C.F.R.T. has announced that Xialta will enter into a state of economic isolation once again, minus the trade agreement between Xialta and Qastari, after she has found a trading partner that can provide her with the tungsten her people need.
