Zhavirru, Sekia
With its sheer size the Novean delegation had two air craft that were being used to carry them to the airport. A total of fifteen vehicles had been commissioned on the ground for them as well to ferry the group to the City Hall to sign the accords. The Emperor, Olivier Bast along with the former Empress and now Dowager-Queen Satine Remanti were each in separate planes and cars. Riding with them were many of the senior government officials such as the Ministers of Defense, Foreign Affairs and Relations, the Treasury, Culture and Energy along with many senior miilitary officials like the heads of the various branches of the armed forces of Noveaux. Even the Grand-Divine of the Faith was going to be in attendance to witness this momentous occasion between the three nations.
Olivier couldn't help but be incredibly nervous, this was a major moment in the history of Noveaux and he would be apart of that. He knew that his reign would likely see other points that would go down in the history books but this, this was something that would act as a new cornerstone to Novean policy both domestic and foreign. His predecessor, Satine Remanti would be the official from Noveaux to actually sign the Accords. Olivier at out of deep respect and acknowledging her efforts to make these Accords a reality drafted an Imperial Act that would give her for this one moment full authority of the Throne on behalf of the people of the Confederation. Public support for such a thing was literally through the roof with no major party or organization openly criticizing the new ruler for this.
Upon landing they were ushered into their respective cars and set off for the City Hall at which the President of Sekia was already waiting. Olivier had briefly met the man who had been a steadfast ally of Satine throughout the latter years of her reign, unfortunately he had not yet had the pleasure of any informal time with the President and he did indeed hope they could find time off the books for a meeting between the two. Olivier wanted, if not needed, to gauge him for himself rather than purely relying on his predecessor and the senior Ministers. Their arrival at the City Hall was accompanied by quite a bit of fanfare with Satine and Olivier standing on the steps to the entrance with nearly the entire delegation taking up the entirety of said steps and waving for the media. Quite the picture really as while Noveaux was the middle member in size it was Noveaux that bound this agreement. Noveaux that brought the others together but it would be all three in concert that would truly bring prosperity to all.
Entering the delegation did a two by two line with Satine taking precedence even though Olivier was the reigning Sovereign. The doors to the main chamber opened and as the Noveans filed in between one past sovereign and then present they all bowed out of respect for the Sekia delegation and hosts. "Magnificent to see you again." Satine said warmly. She turned to Olivier who smiled and shook the President's hand offering a smile and greeting himself. "It appears our technocratic allies haven't arrived quite yet." Satine said with a bit of a smug look. "Waiting we shall do but time to simply talk." Another broad smile crossed her warm face. Those closest to her had advised the former Empress to not attend for her health but, having worked tirelessly for nearly a decade to set these Accords up she was not just about to miss it all coming to fruition. The Noveans took their seats.
