Defense Pact signed by Xialta and Qastari
The Premier of Qastari and the Queen of Xialta have decided to sign a defensive agreement to protect the two nations from potential enemy powers, the ever-growing Nationalist Alliance in particular, which has been actively fighting against Socialists since its dawn. This pact will allow both the Xialtan and Qastarian armies to co-operate with ease, in case of an invasion, and will allow the two nations to trade weapons, food and other supplies to one another, when in trouble.
Modernization of the Xialtan army
The minister of Defense, Mitsos Cardiopoulou has announced that the Xialtan army will begin its plan for modernization of arms very soon. The Queen of Xialta, Constantina Vasileiou Yakushkina has invested millions into the construction of more factories in Xialta, that will be used for mass producing small arms for infantry. Production will begin the upcoming Saturday and the Xialtan army officials expect every single conscript to be carrying a Sarissa-X1 assault rifle, by the end of December.
Success at Ochyro!
The Xialtan army has successfully captured Ochyro, liberating its people from the terrorists that once occupied these lands. The territory will be annexed and be officially recognized as part of Xialta. The Queen of Xialta, Constantina Vasileiou Yakushkina was kind enough to give citizenship to the minorities that live in this territory and she hopes that the people of Ochyro will be able integrate with ease. That being said, some Xialtans have not forgotten the terrorist attacks in Molyvdokastro and they believe that all the people of Ochyro are associated with the terrorists, which is false. This nationalism is influencing our people in a negative way and the only thing it will manage to do successfully is separate us, rather than unite us.
