Terrorist strike in Molyvdokastro!
The people of Molyvdokastro are mourning for the victims that died to a terrorist attack, this day. The terrorists managed to sneak past the security and spray the innocent civilians with submachineguns, killing 37 citizens and wounding 28. According to authorities, the terrorists are part of the local warlords in Ochyro, a small territory directly to the West of the Xialtan Aytocratoriko and Gaia territories. The local warlords are infuriated with the fact that the Xialtan Civil War ended with the Antartes as victors, because the tyrannical Capitalist Barony that used to rule Xialta was conducting trade deals with them, promising them weapons and rare minerals, and in return they were receiving a variety of illegal drugs and textiles, which were produced locally by slaves and then they were sold to other foreign countries for insanely high prices. The minister of Defense, Mitsos Cardiopoulou, and the minister of Law & Order, Nikos Polycharos, have successfully convinced Queen Constantina Vasileiou Yakushkina to wage war on terror! The Queen of Xialta has also announced that Xialta plans to annex said territory and liberate the people of the region from the vile, Capitalist, warmongering terrorists that have enslaved them!
Trade agreement between Xialta and Qastari
A diplomat was sent to Drako, the capital of Qastari, by the Council of Foreign Relations and Trade (C.F.R.T.) of Xialta, with order from the Queen of Xialta, to sign a trade agreement with the Qastarian Ministry of Foreign Trade. In this trade agreement, Xialta is exporting large quantities of iron and lead and in return it receives oil and natural gases. The items in question are traded in proportion to their value, rather than our currencies. This might seem like a deal that would not benefit Xialta in the short run, but with Xialta practically investing into Qastarian industry and infrastructure, by giving them large quantities of iron, Qastari will be able to extract more oil and natural gases from the Earth. On top of that, this agreement might kickstart an alliance between Socialist nations, which will undoubtedly guarantee our eternal prosperity!
