With about 96% of the vote in and counted the tally is as follows: United Party 237 Electors, Conservative Party 237 Electors, Blue-Greens 43 Electors and Liberal Party 35 Electors. No winner declared.
With 100% counted the tally remains deadlocked between the United Party (Jessero) and the National Conservative Party (Corvinus). As such Emperor Alexander is holding talks with both party's leaders to determine what to do. Parthenopian law does not have a resolution in the event of a tie.
The Interim National People's Assembly has formally granted Premier Lafang full authority in any coming potential negotiations with Meridia on the subject of seeking Xin Yian's extradition.
