The traffic controller commander reread the instant translation on the screen three times in confusion. The meeting was a week away, so it would seem they had been overly eager to meet.
"Private Askala" She said addressing a young man across the room "Does the air craft appear unarmed?"
"Yes ma'am. It is to small for any large number or troops and isn't equipped with bomb doors."
"Very good. I guess this Forenoire is just eager. Send a dispatch to headquarters immediately. I'm certain the prime minister will want to meet them, and his majesty."
Speaking into the broadcaster she said "Greetings to the honorable leaders of Fornoire. You have clearance to land at Dusama Airfield, please proceed to *coordinates*. Welcome to the Empire of Procellia, you humble us with your presence"
Clicking off the broadcaster she turned to the room "clear the f*cking airstrip. If anything delays their landing I will personally demote the people responsible!"

"Your majesty don't you think that sending in covert operations into a foreign country was a bit of over kill?" Sighed a frustrated Prime Minister Restra. He was a jolly middle aged man, his paunch stretching the fabric of his red robe
"Perhaps" the Dras said calmly, as he reclined in his seat.
The two leaders were meeting in one of the many rooms in the castle, à large and lavishly decorated behemoth that even the king got lost in occasionally. This particular room was in the Dras' private quarters, and was furnished much more simply. The large sitting room was furnished with only a simple couch, two chairs, à table and à rug. Not withstanding the modern art on the walls.
"Perhaps?" The prime Minister sighed exasperated "Your majesty, with all do respect it'll be a miracle if those people aren't captured"
"Have some faith my good man."
"Well could you at least explain what's going through your head. As a member of the royalist party you'll always have my support, but I'd like to know what it is that I am supporting"
The demon King took a deep breath "I suppose I owe you that much. My plan is to use this mission as a subtle threat to anyone that might try and think us weak. The fact that we can send covert ops into the capital of a nation right next to Selene, and only be found when openly brandishing their mission, is the best statement of power I can think of. Because it hints to those who may oppose us that they are not safe from us if they dare threaten us."
The elected official raised an eye brow "I'm guessing the idea is that they'd have a hard time rejecting a peaceful convoy. But the leaders will be fully aware that those covert ops could have easily committed espionage, an assassination, or bombed the city center?"
"Exactly. But officially they are just there to escort that Selene puppet."
