SRA World Autosport Championship Results and News

The Sizhouan Racing Association has begun debate on potential rules or roster changes for the following championship year, starting in September 2019, to improve competitiveness. Current suggestions on the table include attempting to invite more foreign drivers and manufacturers to compete in order to reduce the number of Sizhouan drivers total (keeping in mind the SRA is a distinctly Sizhouan organization, while attempting to attract international audiences), reducing the total number of drivers, or implementing a handicap system relative to team performance. Officials are leaning towards the final option, as it would prevent any one team regardless of nationality from completely dominating the field such as Team 16 and 12 of the current Prototype roster. This would be accomplished by attaching weights to the best performers' cars.
