Religious atrocities

This was bound to happen but can someone tell me or link me up to the cannon lore of the Selene Region (Preferably a short one)?

I would like to know major religions (if it is not Christian orthodoxy), historical figures, history of the continent my country is located at so I can make the beginnings of a lore based on the lore and. I dunno, several other things that I could be using.

That is If that's not too demanding or an idiot request.

Smaller nations

I held an idea in my mind for quite a while, which I thought could be executed efficiently in practice and could bring even more life to Media Cavea. In the real world, big nations with large industry and influence are not the only inhabitants of our globe, inbetween them exist a lot of smaller nations. Since people are very unlikely to choose to be a small nation, that isn't really significant to the world (except for when it comes down to diplomacy, culture, etc.), I thought it would be a good idea to let people who have already enstablished their nation on Artemia to have two or three extra smaller nations to work with.
It may seem like a chaotic plan at first and I do understand that it could cause potential difficulties and a lot of stress when updating the map, but you have to sit back and think of the possibilities. By roleplaying as other nations, people have a chance to get into the mindset of a different population and explore different ideologies. It will also allow them to approach other nations that they otherwise would've not been able to interact with, through their main nation, maybe due to the distance between them making them oblivious to one another or maybe just because of disinterest or any other possible explanation.
In the following spoiler, I will talk about the Xialtan incident with the territory of Ochyro.

Nuclear Weapons in the World

I'm personally of the mindset that Nuclear Weapons and their likeminded Hydrogen Counterparts shouldn't be in this world. We don't have a rival strong enough to get the nation of Selene to produce them let alone stockpile them. In addition to that most of the rest of the world doesn't seem to have significant IC reason to produce or stockpile WMD's in Selene.

Not only would nations have drowned gobs of money (a strain on any economy) into it but also would have had to conducted tests either underground or in the atmosphere. Either of which would have sent off alarm bells in other nations.

I bring this to the culmination of why nations should not have WMDs in this world. If one does more will. Proliferation in RP worlds is a serious issue that most region's don't offer sufficient oversight on. For example if Sartoria has it why would Akarus or Seloana or other nations nearby not? They would have a serious potential threat at their doorstep giving them sufficient IC reason to have done or to begin the process of obtaining a nuclear weapon.

On top of the domino effect I'd also worry about the international ramifications of it, such as the radiation in the atmosphere from tests, ground pollution from the tests, also about how quickly war would become near impossible essentially rendering any way a possible nuclear war that would have far reaching effects on all nations and not localized.

Pardon if this was a rant, I'm pretty anti-WMD in RP regions.

This is oriented towards Regional Canon. If it was allowed to run parallel and not canon then I don't really have a preference.

Real world religions, ideologies historical figures?

Basically, I'm just not sure how to mention real-world ideologies and religions IC that are significant to my country, or the people who influenced them. Like, would it be more RP-friendly to assume those real world figures just existed at some point somewhere in Artemia, OR come up with new names for those people and/or their ideologies/religions?

I feel like this is a minor point probably, but it's gonna bug me as I try to write my history whenever I get around to it if I don't ask :p

I'm afraid that I have become too busy to involve myself in this role play anymore. I'm sorry to do this after Procellia left, but please understand. I have high school now, and I cannot afford to spend anymore time on other things. My only request is that you guys just forget about my nation's history. Let other nations settle on my plot and make their own story on that land. I'd prefer it if you guys just forgot my nation's existence. I know it's gonna be complicated to do that, but please do it for not my sake, but for potential newcomers. That is all. Well guys, goodbye. It was nice knowing all of you.

Fallout Roleplay?

So I've been thinking... what if we have a Fallout type roleplay? I've been playing Fallout 4 recently and I've been thinking of ways we could convert this into our roleplay. Of course this would be an alternate roleplay, not a part of the main one. Any thoughts on this idea?

This thread is created for the simple use of idea generation for Ima Cavea role plays.

To reiterate what the Ima Cavea is, it's the forum for all character role plays in Selene the nation, with no plot necessary, only a character of your own creation.

For example, a good starting character Roleplay could be the interaction of your characters with the Crown Prince, as he interviews you for citizenship.
