The Copacabana Palace is one of the most legendary casinos of all time. It has hosted some of the most famous people in its 70 year history including Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Sammy Davis Jr, Diana Ross and Michael Jackson. The Copacabana was built by mobster Benjamin ‘Bugsy’ Siegel and it has been said that the Copa was the start of the casino boom in Las Vegas. In its early years, it was the most glamorous casino in Vegas and the Copa girls were known as the best in Vegas. Today, the Copa is still an impressive casino but it doesn’t quite hold the same allure as it once did.
