Fight for Oskioripoli - RCSK - 04-03-2017
[OOC] This is were the events that will take place during the invasion of the Fornirian side of the city and Fornoire's Retaliation.

04/01/2017
Union troops advance across the city of Oskioripoli pass the wall that divides the Fornirian side and the Union side. Loudspeakers on the wall begin to blare over the city "Attention Fornirian's the Union has recognized the city of Oskioripoli as their own. Union troops will begin to advance into the city DO NOT RESIST please cooperate any violators will be forced into submission and eventually removed from the city." The Union troops begin processing Fornirians and bused them outside the city the citizens put a small fight but were eventually brought down. Police in the city were stripped of the weapons out numbered they were quick to surrender to Union troops. The exact number of citizen causalities is unclear. Military parade tanks begin to drive through the streets to show a clear victory of the city being captured and reunited with Kumari. News of the event reached Fornoire and they announced military advancement of 15,000 troops stationed near Oskioripoli to meet outside the city with a larger force from deeper within Fornoire.

Anti-Kumarian Riots begin in Catherine and then several other cities creating a storm of angry citizens over the loss of Oskioripoli and the agression of the Union towards Fornoire. Local authorities extinguished the riots after violence broke out in the crowds of people causing the death of 10 Kumarians and Fornirians hailing from the Kumarian side. The Union after finally hearing of Fornoire's troop advancement has ordered an evacuation of the city and for troops to begin setting up defenses using mines from along the wall outside the city and placing them within the city itself. The authorization to send the Union guard's full force a special operation force of rigorously trained soldiers has been granted the begin their advancement towards the city.

Fornirian ships begin to blockade the city of Kumari causing the Union divert a fleet of Union Submarines to return to the city in order to bring back control of Union waters. Fornoire sends out a message on the situation regarding peace terms on their loss territory "The only peace negotiation we will accept is that the special city of Oksioripoli, or as it is vulgarly known, the Fornirian side of the said city, is returned to our administration. We will push for reparations for an injustice carried out by Kumari, but the minimum we will accept is the return of sovereign Fornirian territory to the Forinirian administration." The Union has returned a message stating "The Fornirian side of the city rightfully belongs to the Union and will not be 'returned' as a majority of citizens reside on the Kumarian side thus expansion is required in claiming the Forniran side.

Operation Nightstorm was put into effect after the Fornirian troops met up outside Oskioripoli. It was a force of 30,000 troops that began to storm the city they quickly made progress practically walking into the city. The Fornirian troops soon greeted by Union defenses with reused landmines place around the city outskirts Fornirians made quick work of the land mines and the efforts didn't stop the push as most of the land mines were either duds due to their reuse or were never triggered. Although due to some of the landmines going off Union Troops were able to find the Fornirian positions. Union troops began firing at the Fornirians but they were outnumbered and unable to stop the push the Union troops were eventually pushed towards the wall's entrance to the Kumarian side where they held them off.

The Union troops were steadily holding the Fornirians behind the wall taking advantage of the watch towers that look below and made use of the loud speakers by shouting criticisms about Fornoire. The tanks used in the military parade days earlier were setup as artillery to shoot over the wall at the Fornirian side although due to it's purpose for the military parade there is limited ammunition. The Tanks are also limited in what they can do and aren't precise in targeting, however the Fornirians are unaware of the use of the tanks due to this unconventional tactic and are treating it as full on artillery and effectively at that.

The battle for the city continues as a stalemate both governments begin to reminisce the revolution as this battle is beginning to form a similar pattern of warfare. The bombing has eventually come to a halt as the last shell fires the Fornirian troops regroup for a siege of the wall and the city gates. The Union Guard a select military force of special ops are being sent out of Kumari after being briefed of the present situation. They arrive tomorrow with small force of a mere 6,000.
