I interpreted it as a deterrent. I don't know about anyone else, but I can't take a punch. Or anything else. I panic if anyone even approaches me threateningly. Or non-threateningly. If this were some real life King Of The Hill situation, I'd be out immediately after seeing someone willing to use violence.

Either that or maybe that's just Hentail's normal method of communication? I try to be understanding of cultural differences so I'll try not to judge. I'll try to stay of physical reach too though to be safe...
