*In the distance, the call of prayer echos and dies out as thousands settle down under the large blue dome of The North Mosque in Qalmaz. An old man steps up onto a pulpit. His lineage stretches back to a time long forgotten, remembered on it ruins and ancient papyri. 4313 years back. He is the leader of Majlis Al Shura, heir to an empire long gone. Muhammad bin Sāqiq, son of Qalmaz. He addresses an audience of government officials, rich and poor, all draped in long garments, mixing where one could not tell who held and sovereignty or not. He clears his throat, invokes God and begins on His name.*

Wherein the worker and the family are left homeless and without work. Wherein the actions of a few has left them nothing but the blood soaked into the ground. We support the Ceredonian and those who sought freedom. So please, share from the goodly loan that your Lord has given you and spare for those who cannot feed their children. Spare for those who’s homes may be destroyed. The zakat (mandatory charity of 2% ones annual income) can only benefit you. It could be five dinars that helps one who cannot afford food. Give so that we may send aid to those who need it.”
