A Meridian Senator has commented: "If Adler wants a wave of violence in exchange for the abolishment of torture, a cruel institution, they should bring their troops to quell Canarto and assume the responsibility if they so fervently wish it instead of criticizing the established peace, which is far more valuable to Meridia and its prosperity. Otherwise, this comment is mere deflection"

An old man in the Capital claimed prophethood last week. Today, he ran up to the beach, pulled a dagger and started stabbing the ocean. Claiming that “The ocean shan’t be trusted, lest we be of the disbelievers.” The man will not be punished but sent to a nursing home.

Next Friday, Saturday and Sunday have been decreed public holidays by the regional government, so it is expected that hundreds of thousands of Canartese will attend.
