The Archduke of Mondtburg looked out his window and saw the expansive Fydorian Capital of Arkadios, and the Manor of it's leader. The plane landed and the Archduke and Archduchess stepped off their plane, ready to take part of the festivities.
Hearing the sounds of something landing outside, The Fydorian Dictator smiled lightly and spoke to one of the servants setting up the last things. "You'd best hurry, the first guests are here." Archibald spoke. She nodded and continued to do her job. Archibald's hand motioned for two of his armed security workers to accompany him outside to meet the first of his guests. As he approached the unmoving vehicle, one of the guards opened the door to let it's contents out.
"Hello there, nice to finally meet another face in person." Archibald spoke with a smile, while still trying to keep himself professional. He outstretched his hand to the guest, in a friendly manner.
Ambassador d'Guise

The Novean Ambassador to Fydoria smiled at her husband s their small three car motorcade left the Embassy towards the manor which the Fydorian Autocrat called his home. The invitation had been delivered to the Embassy and thus relayed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs back home in Calien but with the snap elections coming up and such no heavyweights were available for the dinner so it was decided that Ambassador Geraldine d'Guise and her husband would be attending the event on behalf of the Crown and People of Noveaux. Truly it was an honor to be asked to serve in this capacity though Geraldine couldn't help but feel nervous about attending. Ever since being assigned to Fydoria six years ago she had been made abundantly  clear what kind of nation it was. Autocracy was not something Noveaux enjoyed being in league with but the trade opportunities and relatively well off citizenry allowed the Noveans to swallow their pride and desires for a more liberal society the best they could.

"George darling, you really should learn to tie a bowtie better," Geraldine said reaching over to fix her husband's bowtie. The two of them smiled to one another before she planted a soft kiss on his cheek. The rest of the ride was relatively quiet and relatively short. As the car arrived and the door was opened for her, Geraldine straightened the creases in her soft azurean blue dress and made sure her green sash and neck ribbon of Order of the Verdant Lion were properly in place. Since she didn't have a collar tonight due to having a dress she had to pin the collar onto her lapel opposite of the sash as was appropriate given the circumstances.

Their arrival seemed to coincide with another guest, their dossiers had been quite extensive on those that were either  confirmed or believed to be attending tonight's dinner. It took Geraldine a moment before realizing that one man was the Archduke of Mondtburg. A man who had very recently constitutionally taken power following the reform from an Archbishopric to Archduchy. The move had been welcomed in Noveaux which had a strong monarchy and nobility, seeing another monarchy established or reestablished was something that the Noveans rather enjoyed seeing. Geraldine and her husband simply waited a few steps behind the Archduke and the Fydorian Dictator so as to not intrude on anything they were saying but not far enough back to be impolite either. Geraldine privately whispered to her husband informing him as to who was who in front of them.
Looking over the shoulder of the Archduke, the Fydorian leader spotted the Novean ambassador he was expecting. After greeting the others, and allowing them entrance, he walked closer to her, bowing and outstretching his hand. "I presume you are Mrs. D'guise and her wonderful husband." Archibald said with a smile and laugh. "Come." He said, motioning his hand. "Let us party our worries away. May I get you anything?" Archibald asked politely, turning around and motioning for one of the armed guards to open the door, flooding music and merriment out into the streets.
