When asked about Edward Yutan's negative remarks about him, Wellman had this to say:
"Yutan and I may differ on some issues, but I am confident in his abilities to lead, as I am sure he is confident in mine. The Sol Federation is the Drewish Empire closest friend and ally. Our alliance is too firm to waver under a few words. I look forward to increased cooperation with our Soltek brothers and sisters, starting at the first NA summit in New Stelle."
