Greetings to all of interest,

We, the Social Democrats and Liberals, invite the following parties to negotiate a ruling coalition. These are:
  • United Centrist Alliance
  • New Democratic Party
  • National Communist Council
  • Castietyan Independence Party (we promise autonomy)
As the party proposing this coalition, we would like to get the Presidency. However, we can negotiate all together who will be Prime Minister, the Ministers, and Deputy Ministers.

We hope we accomplish a joint coalition that will fairly rule our nation. United we stand, divided we fall.
Ludoviko Johano, in a statement released by his office, said, "The party will agree to such a coalition pending the thorough discussion of several policy points, the least of which is the status of Castietya."
UCA Press Release
Office of MP d’Orens

Officially released response to the Coalition invitation: “The UCA cannot recognize independence for the province of Castietya or work with Far Leftist Groups. As such the UCA cannot form a coalition with either the CIP or NCC. However, the UCA is open to working with the SDL and NDP as they are either left of center or left thus not stretching our party’s ideals to an extreme.”

Later added to the statement: “The UCA in principle brings together those who span the political spectrum from center right to center left. The UCA would find itself in an impossible position if in a coalition with parties that are far left or far right on the spectrum. At this time the UCA wishes its stance on the matter of coalition forming to be known and understood.”

Positions known to be desired by the UCA: Ministries of Education, Energy, Environment and Foreign Affairs.
The UCA would happily support the SDL for the Presidency upon assurances of Ministries listed above.
Excerpt from Draka Liathu's response to the SDL's proposition.

'The NCC will happily support such a coalition. We hope that this will allow us to work closer with other political parties that share our beliefs. We also support the SDL's reservation of presidency as a term of this coalition, as the NCC were looking for a way to word with them closer, as well as the New Democratic Party. I hope this is a step towards Lopolia becoming a haven of equality and free choice for all'.
Ivan Bonaparte, the leader of the National Lopolian Party, criticizes the Coalition. He calls it an attempt at stoping his party's sphere of influence. "This coalition is in the way of our party's goal, and that is stop the liberals and social democrats from destroying us and bring glory to our falling nation!"
The Freeman's Stalwart Party has announced that it would support the Social Democrats if they agree to let the FSP reinstate the Steadfast Accords in Nordus. (If you don't know what the Accords are, read my thread about the FSP and Nordus.)
The SDL rejects such idea, and will refuse to implement the Steadfast Accords.
