Syndari Culture Minister el-Fezzani has stated that religious minorities are not persecuted or oppressed in Syndar. He pointed to their Constitution that guarantees religious liberties. His comments appear to have attempted to point this conflict into a political rather than religious direction.

Today marks the end of the strange peace  that settled over the Duchy of Proutanhan since the last bombing. As of 10 minutes ago, we have received reports that a Ducal Guard caravan was attacked while enroute to help out at a  mudslide catastrophe that affected several villages.

Soldiers have been dispatched by President al-Reza to the southern cities to disperse the protest crowds. Some reports of live ammunition have been coming through though they are unverified.

Violence has erupted in the southern city of Al-Kara after protests turned to riots. Six soldiers were killed and nearly forty rioters. Dozens more wounded.


[Ardinat] Gunfire has been heard close to the Court of the Realm. Rumours say that this is a coup attempt by desperate democrats, but Ardinatan state media has been silent on the issue.

More violence occurred today as rioters seemed to organize and marched towards a National Guard armory. The Guardsmen opened fired to repel the advancing "horde" only to eventually be forced back by the sheer number of people. Unknown casualties.

Reports suggest that gunfire has erupted around the southern city of Tazir on the south-eastern coast. The port is seen as one of the largest in the region and is the primary hub of Syndari oil heading east. Smoke has filled the skies over the city.


After 4 days of deliberations, the Caliph has called that they will send humanitarian aid to the people of Syndar as a neutral state.

Speaking from the Presidential Garden in Madan, President al-Reza announced that the attack carried out on the Port of Tazir was perpetrated by rebel factions of separatists in the southern states and she added that she had authorized the military to begin moving into place to secure vital infrastructure in the south.
