Border control

#1

The Administration of Law and Order has dispatched Inspector General Veruca Sekelsky to the city of Oskioriopoli she will be taking charge of the gun control measures as well as working with Fornoire officials. The city is currently being ran by the two government's appointed officials while elections take place it is perfect timing for the union to tighten it's grip to remove the weapons from dual citizens there. Her main mission will be to remove firearms and other weapons but she has also been chosen to help lead the border control efforts by investigating the reports of faked passports.

The Inspector General's car has pulled in front of the city hall out steps the Inspector general she is curiously short for and officer and busty in figure. She is wearing her uniform a dark navy blue suit gleaming with medals as she steps out hat in hand she walks straight for the doors ignoring the driver.

As she makes her way to door she is greeted by Union State Police officers.

"Lead me towards the meeting room" she commanded

She then made her way to the room where Fornoire officers awaited....

Oksioripoli

Purple. Purple was the colour of high-ranking police officials nowadays. The Commander of the National Police for Giriyeli Province, Inusufilus Inuadueam, was wearing this colour, along with the police badge that confered his status.

Along with him was Praetor of the National Police, Pisikes Piripenin. A Praetor of Police in Fornoire is the same as a Chief, Superintendent, Constable, etc., at a national level. He was dressed in violet, a colour reserved for the police and military elite. He had a special badge, made of silver, amethyst, and ruby. This badge did not belong to him, but to the state, as it is given to the Praetors that are there at the time.

The colours purple and violet were a meaning: the police and military are at the service of the monarchy, enforcing the rule of law, and in Fornoire those colours are symbol of royalty. In the past, all policemen wore purple, but recent times have changed their outfits into more modern ones. However, even with that, it was standard for these high-ranking officers to dress as such in this day and age. It was their official wardrobe when working as well. There was no intent on offending the Kumarians, as these were their original work clothes.

The Union's Inspector General entered the room, and there it began.

"Welcome, Inspector General. Please, have a seat" said the Praetor.

Upon entering the room She noticed the men in purple standing greeting her she turned to the officer who escorted her to the room.

"Your dismissed officer."

The officer left the room closing the doors behind him Inspector General Sekelsky put her hands on the table overlooking the map of Oskioriopoli

"How are you comrades? I have to say the Union is not impressed with the border security here. I took the assignment only to help finally put a stop to the fraud for which this city known for with the use of some Union strength and Fornirian negotiation. So what do we know of the man caught with the fake passports?"

She gave off a commanding attitude but was surprisingly friendly perplexing the Fornirian's as Inspectors of the RCSK now the Union, have been known as ruthless solving corruption greed and finding any rebellion against the state by any means necessary including breaking laws and international laws. Although that was mainly rumors this lady seemed like a regular officer of the law very down to business.

Piripenin got the police record. He began reading the information of the suspect, and how the prosecution believes he got the forged passport.

"Well, Inspector General, we have data on the suspect, and both the prosecution and our police department are investigating how this man could've had a forgery in the first place"

"The prosecution believes he crossed into Oksioripoli from the Union side. As he was an Union citizen, we believe he was let in by simple border checks, or by corruption if he didn't qualify. However, he must've had contact in the city. We are not sure who or even whom got him the fake passport, that is what we are investigating, but this was not a one-man job. We are not certain why he tried to enter Fornoire, but our main suspicion is contraband of some sort, as we seized items that look of commercial value"

"Every Oksioripolite has their residency papers, and they must've proved they are residents to get the papers. We believe he faked the papers, and because it wasn't enough to fool the border guards, our authorities arrested him. Our guards have computer data on Oksioripoli birth certificates and legal immigration papers, so when his name didn't match, we arrested him. This process is secret to the public to prevent illegals entering Fornoire. So it can be harder to make successful forgeries"

"We are certain he entered before the recent incidents of massive gun seizures in the Union began. Otherwise, he couldn't enter the city so easily, or have committed the forgery in such a fashion. The Prosecutor's Office in Fornoire has requested a trial in Fornoire, as Oksioripoli is still in a process of transition. We also wish for full co-operation from both sides, so we can work out how he crossed into the city in the first place. By sharing information, we believe we can get to the bottom of this. Thank you for listening, Inspector General"
