Today the Socialist Party and the Progressive Party have met up on the steps of the Senate attacking the Novean government. Following the leaks by the website "LeakLinks," there were massive gatherings at state senates to protest the "tyrannical" nature of the Novean state. The leaders of the charge yesterday night were none other than party leader Henry Don of the Socialist Party with his co-leader Williams McAlen, a prominent member of the Progressive Party.

As of current there is a large crowd gathered around the makeshift gathering of esteemed politicians and activists as they give their speeches. The numbers of Eraphalian Senators with proactive against the Novean government has risen compared to what it looked like in the previous week. Most of the senators come from the SP and the PP with several technocratic senators joining in. It is likely from the reaction of the crowd and the fiery speeches from top-positioned politicians that the Eraphalian Senate will be quick to denounce the Novean government. 

The Technocratic Party, however, remains solid in their neutral position in regards to the breaking news. Leading party leader Maria Parkson publicly addressed the nation that the "Eraphalian State must remain calm and vigilant at this moment with regards to the recent news. We must not be quick to act in hate against our neighboring nation's government. We will act when it is crystal clear and we will act firmly, rather it is favorable or not towards our neighbor." The speech was applauded by the crowd surrounding her, however, her oppositions were quick to denounce her.

The media has attempted to reach the Director of the State, but we have yet to receive a response from him. It is currently unclear what his stance is in regards to the news but people are becoming increasing agitated for his opinion. As of an hour ago, a small but growing crowd has surrounded his house.

General Secretary Wolfric Swartvec was being evacuated from the Central Administration Building yesterday evening in the City of Kumari. The Central Administration Building was under siege  by angry rioters like many State Administration buildings at the time of the enitial attacks. The offices began to fall as the military used lethal force to gain entry and all of the State Administrators were put into custody. However, the Central Administration Building eventually fell once the soldiers joined in with the people. Unfortunately as mentioned Wolfric managed to evacuate the location unknown until a source leaked that he had an estate just outside of the city.

Aleksander Walczek was that source and was currently waiting with a small brigade of soldiers at the helicopter pad. Wolfric was reported to be relieved to see Aleksander until he was put in handcuffs. He has been formally charged with corruption, murder, and many more. Aleksander also released a statement quote "Wolfric was a national Hero freeing Kumari from the Monarchy, he was never to be the man incharge. He was simply to be an advisor such as myself to a democratic government made up of the people for the people." 

There is said to be a trial for Wolfric Swartvec and his appointed State Administrators tomorrow morning. Aleksander is to be watching over the trial keeping the peace. It is to take place in the Klassenc Auditorium the largest auditorium in the R.C.S.K. Citizens are encouraged to attend and take the stand if needed. It will be televised for all citizens, and as this is a major decision the people are to consider the fate of these National Criminals by voting at the nearest administration building.

These trials should take a matter of three to five months after which Aleksander Walczek will be creating a new Constitution. This will be created by having elections in all seventeen states to find State Administrators. The Occupational exam will be sized down and narrowed to find the best candidate for the State to run along with any other citizens who are running. The Constitution will create a Union for the Communist States of Kumari and a new democratic form of government.

Eraphalia

Today morning the Eraphalian Army has announced the introduction of twenty prototype SCD-A's (Standard Combat Drone) into a company to "determine the effectiveness of the drones as of current development" as stated by General Henderson during a conference. The exact company to receive the new units is unknown, however, it is likely to be received by a training company. It is also likely that they will be used during the quarterly war games ran by the Eraphalian Department of Defense. 


The drones being developed under the brand of SCD are part of Eraphalia's movement towards preparing for the future battlefields. It is currently being funded via military allocated funds and by the Department of Defense. Even the Department of Technology has a part in funding the military-oriented drone project. Without a doubt, the SCD project is one of the highest funded military research projects in Eraphalian history. The project itself has also garnered support and funding by PA members.

Two assassins attempted to assassinate JEM, leader of Aethelia.

They failed, for a few reasons: It was national "Dress Like the Leader" Day, so everyone looked the same, both assassins dressed like JEM to blend in, each assassin killed the other by mistake, and JEM wasn't even in Aethelia, having forgotten the day.

After a few hours of deliberation, Aethelia's higher ups came to a conclusion: Aethelians are not very good at assassination.

Today marks the first day of the trial in "The People of Kumari vs. Swartvec" the former General Secretary is being tried by several legal experts in Kumari.

While Aleksander was supposed to run the trial he feels more obligated to his new position as temporary head of state. In his absence he has appointed 6 revolutionaries that helped the communist uprising in 1983 and originally supported Aleksander's vision of democracy and 1 ex-judge from Howdokr who was exiled by Wolfric for not upholding his laws.

Aleksander says "This was a long time coming, and Wolfric quickly grabbed power and no one fought him on it, not even myself. I have been planning to bring a stop to this injustice for the last 10 years and reinstate all of the ideas that the communist revolution was fighting for."

With his new position as head of state he reopened all government buildings and created elections for State administrators and local town Administrators.

Following the resignation of the various Ministers directly involved in the shutting down of power to the entirety of Noveaux along with all telecommunications the Chancellor has announced that no criminal prosecution against the Ministers will take place. Chancellor Essard gave her second press conference in as many days taking responsibility for the power and telecom situation finally coming clean to the people of Noveaux about the creation of the Nox Trigger which is what was activated. Chancellor Essard has explained in detail that the Trigger was created to give the government the ability to cease any hostile activity taking place against the nation telecom and power grid networks. The Chancellor has also turned over various documents and technological logs to the media and watchdog groups allowing them to see for themselves that the "Maestro" hack against the Emergency Broadcast Network was not isolated and that in fact there had been a simultaneous attack against two major nuclear power stations and a hydroelectric Essard has shown that while the national government went to the extreme to prevent a further breach against secure systems, owned the responsibility for the shutdown order, and finally has announced reparations to those who suffered personal or property damage during the duration of the crisis. The Government has also begun to meet with corporations and realm governments to asses the economic damage to the various industries that were shuttered during the crisis and begin compensating them as well. 
 
The leader of the Conservative Party, Rudolf vin Darus formally lodged a challenge to the ruling coalition. If a majority of Senators back the challenge then the Chancellor will have not alternative but to dissolve the Imperistarium and call for snap elections. This would be the second election in less than a month's time. Sources close to various party leaders and other influential Senators seem to align with that there will indeed be a majority in favor of a new election. This breathes hope for the National Liberals who suffered a major blow after former Chancellor Deveraux was killed days before the last election. They will be looking to restore their numbers while the Conservatives will be looking to either win an outright majority or coax enough other senators to form a majority with them. All eyes will now be focused on this process as the very fate of the Novean People could be at stake here. Should the Imperistarium be dissolved and a snap election called this would bring the Empress' Sovereign Order reforms into practice now rather than in 2020 when the next elections would have been held.

Leader JEM of Aethelia, along with other party leaders, recently completed a diplomatic mission to a kingdom whose leader wore a crown.

After news spread of this strange foreign trend of using headwear to convey status, Aethelians got the wrong idea about the purpose of crowns. Wealthy Aethelians have begun commissioning elaborate custom crowns to wear in public, and at work, with CEOs and other particularly wealthy people wearing up to eight crowns at once, one on top of another.

(If this sounds too silly, then someone explain to me why some people buy big vehicles that don't need to be so big. That's not any less silly to me.)
