Welcome back!
A formal announcement is forthcoming, but I think it's now safe to say that this Sunday we'll unveil a new map. The current canon will be preserved, and everyone can keep their nations, we'll work with each to ensure you get a plot that best first your nation as it currently is. There will also be some changes to the claim rules, particularly the maximum size and single claim rules, but we'll detail those in the actual announcement.
In the meantime, please know that I haven't forgotten to process the pending applications, I just thought it futile, since we'd switch maps in the coming days.
